Pray for the soul of Donald Rankin who died at Killiechonate 27 Mar 1842 aged 77 yrs (son of the late Neil Rankin Esq., Kinlochleven) and husband of Isabella, youngest daughter of John McDonnell, Esq., Anberarder and granddaughter of Colonel Alex. McDonel "the Keppoch of the day" who was killed in the battle of Cullloden 1746. This stone erected by his sons Angus Rankin JP. and brothers of Bombowlee, Tumut, New South Wales.
