Note 13: Vic bdm MASTERTON Alexr Death Parents - UNKNOWN Died - Cohuna Age - 74 1904 8269/1904 Kerang New Times 2 Sept 1904 COHUNA. (FROM OUR CORRESPONDENT.) On the 27th ult. Mr Alexander Mas- terton passed away at his son's (James Masterton) residence at the ripe age of 74 years. He has been many years a resident of Kyneton, but finding his health rapidly failing, he came to reside at Cohuna. He was formerly a large con- tractor in the Kyneton district and an active member of the Kyneton cavalry. His two daughters residing in this dis- trict are Mrs W. C. Hall, of Cohuna, and Mrs George Hall, of Koroop. Two other daughters are married and reside in Mel- bourne. His remains were interred in the Kyneton cemetery on Tuesday, many old residents by whom he was so highly respected following the remains to the grave.
